Hello Rolim de Moura!

Another experience to tick off the list- an overnight bus journey! We knew we´d have to get a bus from Porto Velho to Rolim de Moura, but little did we know it´d be 9 hours and through the night. Apparently the journey is meant to take 7 hours (despite being in the same state- yes, Brazil is big!), but a collapsed road about 10k outside of Poto Velho meant that it was one vehicle a time over a temporary army-built bridge. Add to that the Easter getaway and that`s a recipe for a long journey. We all survived to tell the tale, in fact the seats on the double-decker were a lot comfier than plane seats and we all did manage to get a little shut eye. We arrived (once again!) to a very warm welcome which has, at least temporarily, helped us forget our tiredness. Wonder what adventures there will be for us here....
